Sports Medicine Program
Who Can Benefit:
Athletes experiencing:
- Pain from an overuse injury (ie. Achilles tendonitis, patellar tendonitis, IT band syndrome, plantar fascitis, patellofemoral pain, chronic sprains or stains, etc.)
- Acute sports-related sprains and/or strains (ie. ankle sprain, muscle strains, knee ligament sprain, rotator cuff tendonitis, etc.)
- Post-surgical recovery from sports-related injury (i.e. ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, lateral ankle reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery, etc.)
What Our Program Includes:
On the first day of treatment, your therapist will perform a comprehensive evaluation, and together with you and your physician, establish a rehabilitation program specific to your diagnosis. Your rehabilitation program is curtailed to meet the demands of your particular sport(s) and return you to action as quickly and safely as possible.
Our therapists are experts in their field, with therapists having additional training in the area of performance enhancement, strength and conditioning, and athletic training.
In addition, we strongly believe in continuity of care and attempt to keep each patient with their therapist or team of therapists from the start of treatment to return to activity. We promote a holistic treatment approach and actively engage the patient in all aspects of their care.
